AEP PRO 5.3.1 - Added AutoUpdate ability. AEP PRO can now upgrade itself to newer version from website..

As it is known, every purchased license of AEP PRO includes free upgrades within 12 months after purchase. And we produce new versions very often (usually we do it every 2-3 weeks). Every minor update fixes known bugs (reported by our customers) and/or introduces new features.

But it was no very comfortable for our users to upgrade to newer versions. It was needed to uninstall previous version, then download new one and install it again.

Now, since this 5.3.0 version  the process is pretty simple!

Just click the "Upgrade to xx.xx" button in the "New version detected window" and AEP PRO will download the new version and install it fully automatically!

Also, SFX module is now digitally signed.

Released AEP PRO 5.2.2 - Improved function "Get File Size". Ctrl-Space hot key now provides more information about selected files/folders..

In previous version we added statistics about file types in the selected directories. It displayed 3 top types of files in these directories. For example: "29 EXE (14%), 26 BMP (13%), 25 JPG (12%)".

Now it shows more information.

Released AEP PRO 5.2.1 - Increased speed of processing files in large directories. Added statistics about file types in the selected folder(s). Increased speed of processing files in large directories (several K of files)..

We added additional statistics about files in the selected directories. Now it displays not only summary size of files, but 3 top types of files in these directories. For example: "29 EXE (14%), 26 BMP (13%), 25 JPG (12%)".

We also increased the speed of processing files in directories with a lot of files (for example: 90K files in c:\program files). Now it works in 40-50 times faster! For example function "Get file size" for this directory (program files).

We've made some other minor changes, like incorrect summary size of large directories, some changes in the progress window, etc.

Released AEP PRO 5.2.0. The application was renamed to 2010' year version. Some other minor changes..

Now the program was renamed to Advanced Encryption Package 2010 Professional. Some other minor changes.

Released AEP PRO 5.1.9. Redesigned Start button. Now it indicates the status of current operation. See screenshot here. Also we fixed some bugs..

We removed the green image of Start button. Now, this button displays the status of current operation, for example: "Encrypt Now", "Decrypt Now", "Encrypt by Public Key", "Securely Delete" and etc. So, now it is easier to use the program.

Also, the previous version has the bug: it displayed the message "new version detected" when the installed product version was the same as the latest version on the server. We fixed this situation.
